　　European Union Education Foundation

European Union Education Foundation (CHEER) is a non-profit organization. It was founded in 1995 with the aim of facilitating education co-operation between China and Europe. Currently CHEER has over one thousand members (higher education institutes, secondary schools, leading professors and experts). Since the establishment of the CHEER consortium in 1999, it has expanded to now include academic exchange, recruitment of higher education students, international education investment and vocational training. CHEER now focuses on the globalization of education, and has become the leading organization in international education and management between China and Europe.

　　The High School Affiliated to the Xi'an Jiaotong University

Relying on the deeply rooted cultural traits and the humanistic atmosphere of a famous university with over 100 years of history, the high school attached to Xi’an Jiao Tong University has been active in its pursuit of progress by persistently working to offer a quality-oriented education. In order to establish a solid foundation for the lifelong education of students and to ensure harmony between the development of people and society, the high school places equal emphasis on both science and humanities education. This is made possible by giving importance to a well-rounded development of the students, by encouraging students to foster individuality thereby enabling students to study in an active, lively, and cheerful manner.

Educational aims:

The school aims at educating students to appreciate high quality, to form an awareness of knowledge, and to repay the kindness shown to them by society, their parents, their teachers, and fellow students. Additionally, the school aims to teach the students to have self restraint, responsibility and creative talent in both morality and knowledge whilst striving to exemplify the art of leadership and an international outlook.

The high school is dedicated to the improvement of its teaching quality. As a result, its students have achieved excellent results, ranking the school at the top amongst its counterparts in the city of Xi'an, as well as in Shaanxi province. It has gained the reputation of being an important school.

Co-operation with its international counterparts:

It has successfully established good relationships with schools from more than 20 countries, and has developed activities to encourage mutual communication and exchange.
